Golden Balls is a gameshow made famous by it's successful afternoon run on ITV. The ITV show is hosted by the one time popular comedian, Jasper Carrot.
The game format involves the initial elimination of 2 players and then two remaining players having a final round to decide the prize money then either sharing or one player stealing the money.
Players are eliminated by a vote. The four players vote for the player they would like elmiate each round. The vote is based on either the amount of money a player has to add to the prize fund or the voters judgement on their honesty.
Players are given money each round in the form of 4 random golden balls, each containing an amount of money or a killer. Two balls are shown to the other players and two are only known to the contenstant untill after the votes are cast. A discussion ensues to figure out what is in the hidden balls. This is where players can lie to make it look like they have lots of money, so others will want to keep them in. Players thought to be lying, or that have poverty hands will most likey be voted out.
In the final round the two remaing players pick balls from a table to decide the final prize money. They can then choose to share or steal the money. If both players choose share then they half the money. If one lpayer shares and one steals, the stealer gets the money. If both players steal, no one ets the money.
